Costumes encouraged (not required) - but the more creative, the better! Wander through our Pumpkin Patch, soak up the festive décor, and capture memories at the Photo Booth. Play your way through our Game Stations: Witch Hat Ring Toss, Skeleton Bowling, Scavenger Hunt, and the all-new challenge: Can You Guess the Teacher? Let your imagination shine with Arts & Crafts, or get a festive makeover at Face Painting & Tattoos. Savor delicious seasonal treats & apple cider. And… something mysterious is brewing! A (surprise) dance performance is on the schedule, starring a few very recognizable faces from ISD. Who could it be? Come find out - and then join us all on the dance floor for a school-wide boogie at 5:50pm. Head to the gym for the Crazy Science Show that promises to be spooktacular - two time slots this year: 5:10-5:45 p.m. and 6:10-6:45 p.m. (sign-up below required to attend!). |
Help Make the Magic Happen! Halloween Hoot wouldn’t be possible without the helping hands of our ISD families. Every detail - from candy bags to game tables, decorations, and clean-up - comes to life because of volunteers like you. We will not be able to run certain stations/games if we don't have enough volunteers. Please sign up for a short shift and be a part of our Hoot Crew! |
Pumpkin Donations for Halloween Hoot Help us light up the night! Please donate carved pumpkins to decorate the event. When: During morning drop-off on Friday, October 24 or after school between 2:30 to 4:00 pm at the latest. What: Any carved pumpkin - friendly, funny, or fabulously spooky!
Thanks for adding your creativity and magic to our Halloween Hoot! |

Parent Social Art Auction Get ready to be inspired! This year’s Parent Social Auction features "one of a kind" creations crafted by our youngest artists. KG, 3rd, and 5th graders are diving into their projects with imagination and flair, and every week we are sharing regular updates so you can see their masterpieces come together, step by step. We’ve already followed the creative journeys of 5L, 5V, KF, and 3P, and now the spotlight turns to KM and 3A, who are bringing their own artistic flair to the mix. Stay tuned for photo sneak peeks and get ready to bid on these one-of-a-kind masterpieces at the auction! **Left photo – 3A; Right photo – KM |
Let's get everyone on board - 61 families are yet to join the PTA! We’ve noticed that several families haven’t yet joined our PTA, and we’d really love to have everyone on board this year. Even if you can’t volunteer often, simply joining makes a big impact - every membership strengthens our school community. PTA members also receive an exclusive discount to the upcoming Parent Social on November 15th, a wonderful evening where parents, teachers, and friends come together to relax, connect, have fun, and celebrate the incredible community that we have built together. |

PTA in Action: Highlights! |
Grade 2 enjoys PTA's Recess Grant! Second graders are loving the exercise they get from jump roping at recess. More experienced jump ropers have taken on a leadership role to teach some novice jumpers their technique. It was wonderful to see such joy and excitement brought by the jump ropes. My students used the chalk to create their own sensory paths on the blacktop, starting with the classic - hopscotch! They had so much fun using ideas from the sensory path outside of our classroom and redesigning it with their own unique twist. Students also enjoyed drawing beautiful pieces of artwork and showing their appreciation for the chalk! Thank you ISD PTA for all that you do! - Danielle Reggina 2R |
Playground Cleanup Volunteers: Thank You! Thank you to everyone who came out to help clean up the playground this past Thursday as part of the ISD PTA Green Team initiative! We picked up litter, cleared debris from around the play structures, and collected many bags of trash, leaving the area looking much cleaner and safer for our kids to enjoy. Clean-up efforts will continue on the third Thursday of each month (weather permitting). |
