Get ready, ISD Families! Halloween Hoot is back on Friday, October 23rd, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at the ISD Gym & Blacktop. It's going to be a spooktacular evening that brings out the curiosity, courage, and community spirit our IB learners show every day.
What's Happening:
- Come dressed in your favorite costume (totally optional, but a great chance to be a risk-taker and show your creativity!)
- Pumpkin Decorating & Halloween Game Stations — for our curious young inquirers
- Snack on Seasonal Treats and sip on Apple Cider
- Don't miss the Crazy Science Show! This year, we have two shows in the gym (5:10-5:45 p.m. and 6:10-6:45 p.m.). Families will sign up in advance to reserve their slot.
- Monster Mash Dance Party with our very own DJ Mr. Harris
Volunteers Make It Happen!
It takes a caring, principled community to make Halloween Hoot at ISD a success. From game stations to science show ushers, decorating, and clean-up, there are so many ways to help. Please sign up and be a part of the magic that makes this night so special for our kids!

Halloween Costume Exchange (10/12-10/16) at the Front Circle
Reusing costumes - good for the earth, good for your wallet. Keep a look out for dates when you can swap your old/unwanted Halloween costumes for new-to-your kids costumes, drop off your old (but clean!) costumes, or, just pick up a new-to-your-kid costume.
