Our Fundraising events would typically include:
- Greenwich Color Challenge (Click here for detailed GCC Volunteer Role descriptions)
- Book Fair
- Parent Social
- School Photos
If you like planning raising money for a great cause, this is the committee for you.
The VPs Fundraising oversee committees and can jump in when needed to help during planning and execution.
Book Fair Team
This Committee will run a Book Fair that both raises money and gets children excited about reading. This team organizes logistics including publicity and volunteers. Members of this Committee include Co-Chairs (2) and Book Fair Treasurer.
Parent Social Team
This event has an event chair and an auction chair as well as additional team members.
EVENT TEAM: Help plan venue, food/drink, and entertainment for ISD Parent Social as well as promotion for the event.
AUCTION TEAM: Help secure auction items for the parent social silent auction. Most of this work can be done from home via email except for the occasional trip to pick up an auction item from a donor or to drop off donation papers to a business. Once items are obtained, enter item information into silent auction platform.
Easy to do from your computer at work or home!
The event will be held in the fall, with most of the work in September-November.
Greenwich Color Challenge
This team make the Greenwich Color Challenge fundraiser happen! Visit link above for detailed job descriptions. We are planning on hosting the event in April 2024. Several jobs can be done from home/office in their entirety prior to the event day when you will need to be on site.
This team is responsible for designing, ordering, and selling ISD Dragon logo merchandise. This is a great way to raise money for the school and children love to display their school logo. We are looking for another team member.
Help capture memories by volunteering to coordinate school photos which include figuring out logistics with the photographer, recruiting volunteers to help on School Photo Day, assisting teachers when class photos are taken and helping with photo distribution. School Photo Day is usually in September.
