Enrichment is the cornerstone of the PTA mission. After School enrichment encompasses the PTA enrichment effort outside of the school day.

The VP After School Curriculum Enrichment oversees committees and can jump in when needed to help during planning and execution.

Afters Program Chair

This Chairperson's responsibility is coordinating ISD's After School program that operates (3) sessions per school year; fall, winter and spring. This role coordinates efforts with the company Greenwich Afterschool to establish programs for each session that are of interest to our ISD students. The Afters Chair helps select programs, shares promotional material from Greenwich Afterschool, and acts as the liaison between the school and this vendor. This is a role reports to the VP of After School Enrichment. This position requires approximately 5 hours per month.

STEAM Night Coordinators

Help put on these great evenings of educational and fun math and science games and presentations! The coordinator of this event works with ISD teachers to identify math and science games and activities that will be played that night. As coordinator you will organize the games so they are ready to be played, get prizes for the guessing games and promote the event. This event typically occurs in the winter.

5th Grade Musical Team

Help put on a show with the 5th Grade! This committee will help with elements of the production such as recruiting students, coordinating volunteers, managing the budget, preparing the program, designing the tshirt, decorating the venue and more. This is a 5th Grade Committee.
