Thanks to our families' generosity, ISD offers enrichment experiences that rivals private schools - without the private-school price tag. From author visits to cultural celebrations and International Family and STEM nights and fully-funded field trips, your donation fuels the "extras" that make education extraordinary - sparking curiosity, building confidence, and and bringing us together.
The PTA provides financial flexibility beyond the school’s budget, empowering teachers with the resources and freedom to be creative, inspiring, and effective. Each year, we invest approximately $325 per student in enrichment programs, classroom supplies, community events, and more - regardless of a family’s ability to contribute.
Unlike many schools where parents often bear field trip fees, the PTA has been proud to fully cover all such field-trip expenses not funded by the Greenwich Public Schools budget - ensuring no additional costs fall on families.
The ISD PTA ensures that every child benefits from an extraordinary public school experience. But, sustaining this level of excellence takes continued support.
As costs for busing and transportation, supplies and vendors, and operational costs continue to rise, the PTA relies on your contributions more than ever. In our recent budget survey, families overwhelmingly expressed their commitment to preserving the programs that made ISD special - even if it meant to increase donations.
Our Membership Drive is the single, most important fundraising event that we do all year and accounts for 50% of our fundraising budget.
