Ice Cream Social

Help organize this ISD tradition of welcoming our ISD families to the school year with ice cream! Coordinate purchasing ice cream & supplies, organizing "celebrity scoopers"(teachers & staff), setup & break down with volunteers and communication. This event takes place on a Sunday afternoon in September.

Teacher Cookie Boxes

Help give the teachers a boost during December’s Parent/Teacher conferences! Organize volunteers to come together in a social setting and put together boxes of cookies for teachers and staff in early December. 2 volunteers are needed to lead the charge to organize and execute the event and coordinate volunteers. The Family Events VPs oversee the event and jump in when needed to help during planning and execution.

Halloween Hoot Team

This is a great opportunity to be part of the kids favorite holiday of the year! Planning begins in early September and the event typically takes place 4th Friday in October. We are looking for team members.

Talent Show

The Talent Show is an incredibly popular event for ISD students! Co-Chairs will coordinate rehearsals and performance, work with Mr. Harris to acquire and organize music, communicate with parents, and run the event with the help of volunteers. If there are enough volunteers, the event will be brought back in-person.

International Family Night

This is an ISD signature event! Help coordinate this night around the world where families will visit country classrooms and learn about the many places our ISD families are from. I more co-chair needed and we are looking.

• COUNTRY COORDINATORS: coordinate families who volunteer to host country displays
• FOOD COORDINATORS: coordinate potluck and refreshments
• PROMOTION COORDINATOR: organizes registration, promotion, signage and handouts for the event. Easy to do from home or office!
• LOGISTICS & VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR: Secures permits, classrooms, facilities requests, furniture & supplies and volunteers.

Beach Party

This Committee coordinates all aspects of the Beach Party event including entertainment (family games and music), kid-focused raffle, food vendors and volunteers. The committee is made up of a team of 4 or more volunteers. The event takes place in early June on a Sunday afternoon. The VPs of Family Events oversee this committee and join the team to help plan and execute this fun family-focused event.

Family Outing

Past outings have included ice skating, baseball games and more. Secure venue or vendor, the date/time & negotiate pricing. Coordinate with Communications team to promote event & setup registration through Dragon Tales & eBlasts. Oversee the event & cut check for payment.

Job can be done from home or office until the evening/weekend of the event!

Help plan ISD Family Movie Night. Coordinate date with vendor and school. Coordinate with Communications team to promote event & setup registration through Dragon Tales & eBlasts. Oversee the event & cut check for payment.
