Q: What is the Parent Social Auction?

A:  The Parent Social Auction & Raffle is a fundraiser for our school, as well as a fun social event for parents to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere.  The Auction and Wine Toss are the primary fundraising part of the event.  There are various silent auction items available to bid on through our Silent Auction Pro website.  Please share the silent auction and raffle link with local friends and family.

 

Q: What will we do at the Parent Social Auction?

A: You’ll enjoy a Gatsby-themed evening with delicious food and drinks, casino games, music, a Wine Toss, and exciting auction bidding.   

 

Q:  I cannot attend this year’s Parent Social & Auction; can I still support ISD?

A: Yes! You can still support ISD by bidding in our online auction, even if you can’t attend the event. Details for participating in the live auction for non-attendees are still being finalized. Attendance isn’t required to win, and you don’t need to be an ISD family to bid!   

  

Q:  Is this a couples only event?

A:  Absolutely not, this is the Parent Social!  Make it a Moms night or Dads night, or just come on your own to meet other parents. If you have not met a lot of our ISD community, this is the perfect event for you!

 

Q:  What adult beverages are included?

A:  There is an included bar from 6:45-11pm with soft drinks, red & white wine, beer, rose, champagne/prosecco, High Noon, Tito’s vodka and tequila with mixers.

 

Q:  What is the dress code?

A: Dress like you’ve just stepped out of a time machine from the 1920s, won the lottery, and decided to throw a party so fabulous even the chandeliers need sunglasses. Feel free to shine in your own style—festive or elegant yet comfortable—just NO jeans, flip-flops, or t-shirts.

 

Q:  How do the casino games work?

A: Every ticket holder will receive $100 in "funny money" with which to "gamble" at the blackjack, craps and roulette tables. Additional "funny money" will be available for a donation. No real money will be won at any of the games.  It’s all for fun! 

 

Q: What should I do ahead of the event?

A: Before the event, please:

  • Register on the Silent Auction Pro website to speed up check-in and preview auction items.

  • Email the Fundraising Team if you can help secure a donation for the silent auction.

  • Consider donating a bottle of wine for the Wine Toss.

Q: I forgot to buy tickets! Can I still buy them at the door? 

A: Yes! Tickets are $130 in advance ($10 off for active ISD PTA members) or $140 at the door.
